Ads Library Media Saver Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 4, 2026
Data Collection
Ads Library Media Saver does not collect, sell, share, transmit, or store personal data on any developer-controlled external server.
Browser Access
The extension can access Meta Ads Library pages only to scan pages that the user opens in Chrome. It can access Facebook CDN media URLs only when the user chooses to download, save, or upload a selected media item. It uses the user's existing browser session, but it does not read, export, upload, display, or transmit cookie values.
Downloads
When the user clicks a download button, Chrome downloads the selected media URL directly to the user's computer through the built-in downloads API.
Local Storage
The extension stores saved media records, tags, categories, notes, Google Drive folder metadata, and short-lived Google Drive access tokens locally in Chrome extension storage. The user can clear this by removing the extension or clearing extension data.
Google Drive
Google Drive upload is optional. If the user connects Google Drive and clicks an upload action, the selected media file is sent from Chrome to the user's Google Drive through Google's APIs. The extension requests the drive.file scope and does not request full Drive access. Google Drive access tokens are used only for Drive API requests from the extension and are not sent to any developer-controlled server.
Remote Services
The extension does not use a developer-controlled remote backend service and does not load remote code.
